Falafel Sliders (Vegan & Gluten Free)


Prep Time: 10 Minutes

Bake Time: 35 Minutes Total Time: 45 Minutes


Ingredients:

1 can Chickpeas (drained & rinsed)

1 bunch Parsley (~2 c.)

1/2 c. Raw walnuts

1 tsp. Salt

1 tsp. Garlic powder

1 tsp. Cumin

1/4 tsp. Black pepper (ground)

1 tbsp. Lemon juice


Method:

1) Preheat the oven to 375.


2) In the food processor combine 1 can of rinsed chickpeas. Blend for 30 seconds.


3) Next, add 1 bunch of fresh parsley and blend for 30 seconds.


4) Then, add 1/2 c. of raw walnuts, 1 tsp. salt, 1 tsp. garlic powder, 1 tsp. cumin, 1/4 tsp. ground black pepper, and 1 tbsp. lemon juice. Blend all of the ingredients together for 1 minute.


5) Use a spatula to scrap the mixture off of the sides of the food processor. Then, blend the mixture again for 1 minute.


6) Line a large baking sheet with compostable parchment paper. Use your hands to form 10 sliders.


7) Bake at 375 for 35 minutes.


Serving Size: 10 slider patties
