Mac & Cheese (Vegetarian)

Ingredients:

8 Ounces pasta (cooked)

3 tbsp. Flour

1/4 c. Butter

3 c. Whole milk

2 1/2 c. Cheddar cheese (shredded)

1 c. Parmesan cheese

1 tsp. Salt

1/2 tsp. Pepper

1/2 tsp. Garlic powder

1/2 tsp. Onion powder


Method:

Boil a large pot of water and follow the instructions on the pasta box to cook it for this dish.


Preheat the oven to a broil. In a frying pan, melt the butter over medium heat (1 minute). Stir in the flour and once it absorbs the butter slowly add the milk (1 minute). Once you have stirred in all of the milk, add the cheese: 1 cup parmesan and 2 cups of cheddar. Next stir in the spices: salt, pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder.


Once the cheese is melted (2 minutes), remove the sauce from the stove and add the cooked pasta. Stir the cheese and the pasta together. Place the mac and cheese in a baking dish. Sprinkle 1/2 c. of cheddar cheese on top.


Place the mac and cheese in the oven for 30 seconds - 2 minutes and watch carefully while the cheese turns to a golden brown. If you walk away it may burn!
