Chocolate Covered Strawberries


Total Time: 40 Minutes


Ingredients:

15 Large Strawberries

2 c. Chocolate chips (melted)

Sprinkles for decoration (optional)


Method:

Lay down compostable parchment paper on a baking sheet. Place 2 c. of chocolate chips in a small pot and turn the stove to low heat. Keep an eye on the chocolate while it is melting. Stir the chocolate on and off for 5 minutes. Remove the chocolate from the stove and transfer to a small bowl. Dip each strawberry in the chocolate individually. Lay the chocolate berries onto the parchment paper. If you are going to decorate the berries with sprinkles add the sprinkles while the chocolate on the berries is wet. Once all of the berries are covered with chocolate and decorated put them in the fridge for 30 minutes or until the chocolate hardens. Store the berries in the fridge and eat for the next 4 days.
